To Help or To Judge?

Lately I’ve been bothered by our unwillingness to help people who have real problems.  Instead, we sit back and bad mouth them.  Why in the world are Christians like this?  Philippians 2:4 says, “Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.”  And, of course, Matthew 7:1 says, “Do not judge.”  Yet, we often seem to ignore both of these statements.

Instead of helping, we also sit back and say, “It’s not my business.”  Or, “What can I do?”  Both eventually lead to indifference or apathy.  We’ve got to be better than this!
